Katie joins Georgia CORE as a federal and state grants financial management consultant. Prior to consulting, Katie worked at Emory University and the University of Cincinnati, supporting pre-award and post-award administration at those institutions for a combined total of 18 years. Before research and grants administration consumed Katie's professional interests, she graduated from Rice University with a BA in cellular and molecular biology, paving the way for a near constant interest in how cancer develops and the groundbreaking research that is taking place to hopefully end it one day.
